Terms of Service
Effective date: December 31, 2025
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Mailyra website, applications, and receive-only email service (the “Service”).
By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. The Service (receive-only email)
Mailyra provides a receive-only email experience that allows users to create receiving addresses and view inbound messages.
Sending email is not supported, and you acknowledge that any sending functionality is intentionally unavailable.
The Service depends on third parties (senders, networks, providers). We do not guarantee delivery, timing, availability, retention, or completeness of inbound messages.
We may modify, restrict, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Service at any time for security, reliability, abuse prevention, compliance, or operational reasons.
2. Eligibility and accounts
- You must use the Service in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and access credentials.
- We may require authentication via third-party login providers (e.g., Google/Apple) to access features.
- You may not share your account in a manner that enables abuse, circumvention, or unauthorized access.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Service. Prohibited activities include, but are not limited to:
- Impersonation, identity theft, fraud, or unauthorized access to accounts or data.
- Attempting to bypass security controls, anti-abuse systems, rate limits, paywalls, retention rules, or access restrictions.
- Using the Service for unlawful purposes, including malware distribution, harassment, or facilitating prohibited activity.
- Interfering with or disrupting the Service (e.g., automated abuse, scraping, denial-of-service attempts).
- Reverse engineering, decompiling, or attempting to derive source code, except to the extent permitted by law.
- Any attempt to enable, simulate, or exploit sending capability (including via integrations, automation, or abuse of APIs) is strictly prohibited.
We may monitor, rate-limit, restrict, block, or terminate usage patterns that appear abusive or risky to the Service, other users, or third parties.
4. Inbound content and third-party messages
Inbound messages are created and sent by third parties. We do not control message content, sender identity, or delivery behavior.
You are solely responsible for how you use information received through the Service.
- We are not responsible for the legality, accuracy, completeness, or safety of inbound message content.
- We do not guarantee that inbound messages will be delivered, stored, or displayed.
- You should not rely on inbound messages as the sole basis for critical decisions without independent verification.
5. Privacy
Our collection and use of personal data is described in our
Privacy Policy.
By using the Service, you consent to our data practices as described there.
6. Availability, retention, and changes
- The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
- Retention periods, deletion behavior, and feature availability may vary by plan, account settings, operational needs, abuse prevention, and compliance requirements.
- We may perform maintenance, updates, migrations, or security actions that impact availability, retention, or accessibility of messages and addresses.
- We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, error-free performance, or any specific uptime or service level.
7. Enforcement and termination
We may suspend, restrict, or terminate access to the Service immediately if we reasonably believe:
(a) you violated these Terms, (b) your use poses a security or abuse risk, (c) your use may expose us or others to liability,
or (d) it is necessary to comply with law or requests from authorities.
We may also remove or restrict access to certain receiving addresses or messages where required for security, abuse prevention, compliance, or operational integrity.
8. Paid Plans and purchases (Web PayPal, Apple IAP, Google IAP)
The Service may offer paid plans (“Paid Plans”) that provide additional features or higher limits (for example, increased address limits such as up to 30,
extended retention, and/or manual deletion controls). Available Paid Plans, prices, and benefits may change over time and will be presented at the time of purchase.
Paid features may be enabled immediately after purchase confirmation.
- Where you buy matters: You may purchase Paid Plans on our website (web checkout) and/or through in-app purchases on iOS (Apple App Store) or Android (Google Play).
Your purchase is governed by these Terms and also by the terms, conditions, and policies of the platform where you bought it.
- Web checkout (PayPal): Website purchases may be processed by PayPal. We do not store full payment card details on our servers.
We may store plan/entitlement information, purchase timestamps, expiry dates, and transaction identifiers for accounting, support, fraud prevention, and entitlement verification.
Availability of web payment methods may vary by region.
- Apple in-app purchases: If you purchase through the Apple App Store, Apple processes payment, manages subscription billing (if applicable), and handles refunds according to Apple’s policies.
You can manage or cancel subscriptions via your Apple ID subscription settings.
- Google Play in-app purchases: If you purchase through Google Play, Google processes payment, manages subscription billing (if applicable), and handles refunds according to Google’s policies.
You can manage or cancel subscriptions via your Google Play subscription settings.
- Manage / cancel: You must manage or cancel through the same platform where you purchased:
(a) web billing/support flow for web purchases, (b) iOS: Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions (or App Store account → Subscriptions), or
(c) Android: Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions.
- Access until period end: Unless otherwise required by applicable law or explicitly stated at purchase, cancellation becomes effective at the end of the current paid period,
and access to Paid Plan features may continue until the paid period ends.
- Refunds (important): Except where required by applicable law or platform policy, fees are non-refundable.
For web PayPal purchases, refunds (if any) are provided only where required by law or at our sole discretion.
For Apple/Google in-app purchases, refund decisions and processes are governed by Apple’s or Google’s policies.
- No abuse: Unauthorized chargebacks, friendly fraud, repeated disputes, refund abuse, or attempts to obtain Paid Plans without paying may result in suspension or termination of your account and access to the Service.
- Verification: We reserve the right to verify purchases, receipts, and entitlement status (including via Apple/Google/PayPal signals) to prevent fraud and to enable paid features.
- Taxes: Prices may include or exclude taxes depending on the platform and your location. Any applicable taxes will be shown at checkout or by the platform.
- Entitlements and account matching: Paid Plan entitlements are granted to the logged-in Service account.
If you change login identity or lose access to your platform account, entitlement restoration may require verification and may not be possible in all cases.
Paid Plan benefits are provided on a best-effort basis subject to operational integrity, abuse prevention, and compliance.

12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Mailyra shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages,
or any loss of data, profits, revenue, business, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of (or inability to use) the Service.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our aggregate liability will be limited to the amount you paid to us for the Service during the six (6) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim

We reserve the right, at your expense, to assume exclusive defense and control of any matter subject to indemnification by you, and you agree to cooperate with our defense of such claims.
14. Electronic communications
By using the Service, you consent to receive communications from us electronically (for example, via the website, in-app notices, or email).
These communications may include notices about your account, security, billing/entitlements, service changes, and legal notices.
You agree that electronic communications satisfy any legal requirement that such communications be in writing.
15. Governing law and jurisdiction

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will post the updated Terms on this page with a revised effective date.
